What TIME does the worship service start?

We kick things off at 9:40am, however it's a good idea to get there a few minutes early for parking purposes, and to make sure that you have a chance to grab a quick cup of coffee!  But...if you're running late, no worries--we keep the coffee brewing and there's always room if you're running late.

Where are you LOCATED?
We are currently meeting in North Commerce City, at the Second Creek School, located in Fronterra Village.

What do you have for CHILDREN?

We love kids, and put a high priority on them!  You can check your kids into our care and know that they're safe--each person who works with children at FVC is put through a thourough background check.  We have care for babies in our nursery, and age appropriate activity for kids from pre-K thru 5th grade.

I have TEENAGERS. Do you have anything for them?
Absolutely.  Our student ministry TREK gets to worship with us on Sunday mornings, but they also have their own gathering time on Tuesday nights at the Reunion Rec Center.

How should I DRESS?
There are no dress codes here. We want you to feel totally relaxed when you come to church. If you want to wear jeans, your Broncos jersey, or if you feel like dressing up go ahead.

What is your CHURCH like?
Our Sunday worship event is a blend of high energy worship, biblical teaching, and fellowship with people who desire to experience Christ in an authentic way. Of course the church isn't just what happens on Sunday...the church is people who live in a real world, with the power of a real God, making a real difference wherever they live--so we also suggest that you get involved in 'doing life' with other like minded believers during the week in a small group setting.

How LONG is the service?
Plan for about 60 to 75 minutes (but it does go by REALLY fast).

What makes this church UNIQUE?
We're unique because of who God has called us to be in this community. If you're looking for a church, you won't have any trouble finding one...but if want a church that desires to really make a difference in the hearts, lives and the future of North Commerce City and in this region, then you may find the experience at FVC what you're looking for.

Will I have to SAY anything, SIGN anything, GIVE anything, or be SINGLED OUT in any way?
No way. We do ask guests to sign our community pad, but that's only so that we can send you a gift. Our hope is that you'll find FVC a comfortable place to worship God.

What is ahead for FVC?
The best days are ahead for FVC. We're currently exploring the real estate market for a piece of property to build on someday. We're also constantly looking for ways to advance God's Kingdom through either planting churches, or by expanding our church into other areas that don't have a church for people to attend.

How to I get to KNOW other people at FVC?
This is a key question, because most people come to church to find God AND friends. Once a month (or so) we have a social gathering called 'coffee talk', where we get the chance to meet new faith venturites over coffee--it's a great way to meet new people. We also have an intro class called FVC 101 where we teach about the history of our church and denomination--another great place to get to know new people!

I heard that Faith Venture is a NAZARENE church? What does THAT mean?
We are part of a worldwide denomination of churches called 'The Church of the Nazarene'. The denomination was founded in 1908, and...well, just go see the website

WHEN and HOW did the church get started?
FVC began meeting in Dale and Michelle's family room in the summer of 2004. Since then, we've moved twice, once to the Reunion Rec Center, and now to our current location at Second Creek School.

How can I STAY informed?
There are several ways to make sure that you've got the 411 on all that's happening at FVC. Of course you should check our website often, but also make sure that you are connected to our free e-mail list. In addition, we PODCAST our sermons, or you can simply download the audio from our Sunday service from the website as well.
